Angove The Medhyk Shiraz 2017/2018

Angove The Medhyk Shiraz 2017 is a premium Shiraz wine from the McLaren Vale region of South Australia. It is a single vineyard wine made from grapes sourced exclusively from the Medhyk Vineyard, which is situated on the famous Willunga escarpment.
 
The wine is fermented in small open fermenters and aged for 18 months in a combination of new and old French and American oak barrels to add complexity and depth. The result is a full-bodied and richly flavored Shiraz that is sure to impress.
 
The wine is named after the Medhyk family, who have been growing grapes in McLaren Vale since the 1940s and are now in their fourth generation of winemaking.
